Drumroll….

My CAL2014 blanket is finished!

And maybe thanks to the Olympics as I watched quite some speed skating matches, so plenty of time to crochet.

Last update I was finishing the “hearts” which were a replacement for the Catherine Wheel.

In the rest of the blanket I replaced the Catherine Wheel and the Chevron with the following:

The mini zigzag, which I found here

The waves, which I found here

The edging I kept as the original pattern, I crochet a picot border in blue.

The final measurements are roughly 1.40m x 1.50m. With all the different stitches I must admit two sides are not really straight.

And of course my daughter was very willing to be my blanket model. ;0)

See you next month for the grannie square blankets update!

Tromgeroffel….

Mijn CAL2014 is af!
